Privacy policy
Spellspeed (formerly DBETTER and DuelingBook Lite) is an independent extension and Android app that adds interface controls and shortcuts to DuelingBook. It is not affiliated with DuelingBook.
Information used on your device
Spellspeed reads the active DuelingBook page, including card and duel state, player names and relevant duel-chat messages, to display its controls and perform the actions you request. This information is processed in the page and is not collected by the developer. Spellspeed does not access your passwords or authentication cookies.
Settings stored locally
Feature switches are saved in your browser's local extension storage. Viewer appearance and position are saved in DuelingBook's local storage. The selected viewer mode is saved in tab session storage. These preferences are not sent to the developer. Uninstalling removes extension storage; site preferences can be removed by clearing DuelingBook site data.
Android app
The app shows DuelingBook in its own browser view, with Spellspeed included. Your DuelingBook login, cookies and site storage stay in the app on your phone and are removed when you uninstall it. Links to other sites open in your phone's default browser.
Actions and external links
Requested game actions use DuelingBook's existing connection and are visible according to that site's normal game behaviour. The Fifty Fifty? helper sends choices and short coordination messages through ordinary DuelingBook duel chat; they may appear in its duel log or replays. Spellspeed does not provide a separate messaging server.
Clicking a replay link opens DuelingBook. Clicking YGOR opens YGOResources with the selected card name in the search link; no lookup is made until you click. Those services handle requests under their own policies.
No analytics or advertising
Spellspeed has no analytics, advertising, tracking service, developer-operated backend or data sales. It does not upload browsing history, card histories, account details or duel content to the developer or an analytics provider.
Permissions
The storage permission saves your settings. Content scripts run only on https://duelingbook.com/ and https://www.duelingbook.com/ to provide Spellspeed's DuelingBook features. All executable code is included in the package.
This website
spellspeed.com sets no cookies and uses no analytics, and its fonts are served from this site. It is hosted on GitHub Pages, which may log visitors' IP addresses for security; see GitHub's privacy statement.
